LESSON 10
TOPIC: Love Each Other (2) TEXT: Galatians 5:22

MEMORY VERSE: John 15:17 “These things I command you that you love one another.”

TEACHER’S OBJECTIVE
1. The Holy Spirit helps us to love others
2. God is Love.
3. God command us to love others.

CENTRAL TRUTH
God fills you with His love.

INTRODUCTION
Introduce the lesson with the following song:

I am so glad that our Father in Heaven
Tells of His love in the book He has given
Wonderful things in the Bible I see.
This is the dearest that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me
Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him and wander away
Still He doth love me wherever I stray
Back to Him dear loving arms would I flee
When I remember that Jesus loves me
I am so glad that Jesus loves me.
Chorus:
Jesus loves me and I know I love him,
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem
Yes it was love made Him die on the tree
Oh I am certain, that Jesus loves me.

CHORUS:
Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing
When in His beauty I see the great king
This shall my song in eternity be, “Oh
What a wonder that Jesus loves me!

PROGRESSION OF EVENTS
1. True love comes from God (1 John 4:8)
2. God showed His love by sending His Son to die on the cross for your sin 1 John3:16.
3. When you trust in Jesus as your Saviour, God fills you with His love. (Romans 5:5)
4. When the Holy Spirit is in control, He will produce love for others in your life.
5. True love is loving others like Jesus does. This means to think of others more
    highly than yourself.

APPLICATION
True love is to want God’s best for others. When the fruit of love is produced in your life,
you will not expect to receive anything in return for the love you give. Is the Holy Spirit
producing the Fruit of love in your life?

MESSAGE OF SALVATION
When the Holy Spirit is in control of your life, He will produce love for others in your
life. How can the Holy Spirit control your Life?

INVITATION
When you trust in Jesus as your Saviour, God fills you with His love. Romans 5:5. The love
of God is shed abroad in your hearts by the Holy Ghost. Without Jesus in your heart you
cannot show love to others.
